Postdoctoral Position in Operator Algebras | Nature Careers

University of Southern Denmark (SDU)

In connection with the project ‘Above and Beyond the Classification of C*-algebras’ (funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark) held by Jamie Gabe, the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Southern Denmark is opening a three-year postdoc position for a young researcher with a research profile in operator algebras. The standard Danish salary is very competitive, and the position also includes a travel budget of 2200 per year. The teaching load will not exceed one semester per year, corresponding to 10 ECTS, and the teaching may be conducted in English.

Starting date: 1 September 2022 (or nearby date).

Duration: three years.

Application deadline: 10 June 2022.

Formal requirement: The candidate is required to be fluent in English and to hold a PhD degree in mathematics at the starting date of the position.
